First impressions are made in a matter of seconds and based on minimal cues. So, when communicating our brand online, paying attention to the “little things” makes sense. Because logos associated with the places we have worked and attended school are part of our social proof and credibility, the absence of a logo in our Experience, Education or Volunteer sections is perceived negatively.

Make sure that you have filled the rest of your profile with all sorts of meaningful credibility markers and social proof.
Savvy executives know that even small things – like logos – are important to the way others perceive them.

1 年Great input! I found some of my past client logos online and put them on my website. Even some that are in the years gone by I wanted to use. And some companies were sold. I still used the "old" logo. I know that is a bit different than for in a job search and on LI.
