Three Kinds of People (Part 1)

Three Kinds of People (Part 1)

There are three types of people (Part 1).

1.      Those who see the world as competitive, feel they have to fight all the time to survive or win, me versus them. Those who see selfishness and even cruelty as the only way to survive and thrive. Who worry about not having enough, of falling behind others, of what others will say or think about them, who focus on accumulating to protect themselves and feel superior to others. And who will easily use others and hurt others if it helps and benefits themselves.

Their outlook is framed by competition, and beliefs and behavior driven by Fear.

This is the Third Plane of Existence.

 2.      Those on the Fifth Plane of Existence whose outlook is framed by cooperation and the greatest good of all, for whom, love and compassion drive beliefs and behavior. Who believe there is enough for everyone to be content and happy, who see all as equals and have kind thoughts, words and act for everyone. People who sacrifice their own comfort and safety to help others (even if others don’t reciprocate or are mean back), and will share their last piece of bread.

3.      And finally, the Fourth Plane where people oscillate between fear and love, between competition and kindness, between self-preservation and service. Those who have a sharp tongue or elbow, but feel bad about hurting others. Who wish the world was kinder and more considerate, but don’t know how to make the world a better place. Who enjoy competition and winning, but won’t hit below the belt. Who will go out of their way up to a point to help others, but want to protect their own comfort and safety. Who want to be on the Fifth Plane, but don’t know how to let go of the Third.

Each of these Planes have several degrees or sub-planes. We may exist in any one Plane, or two—the Third and Fourth, or the Fourth and Fifth—depending on the time and situation.

Overcoming the fears, insecurities and judgements that keep us in the Third Plane and moving to the Fifth is the goal of human life and society.

Every day, every hour, every minute gives us an opportunity, a choice of where we want to be.

Our thoughts, words and actions decide where we live and what we experience—Heaven or Hell, right here and right now.

That is the ultimate choice we have as humans. How do we respond? That’s becomes story of our life.

The fourth plane is really well articulated. It's really a difficult transition to the fifth.
