Some mornings when I wake up – I start running through all the things I need to do that day in my head. Even though I already have my to-do list written from the night before. Does this happen to you??
I’ll tell you what I don’t do – I don’t think of things that I need to STOP doing. And I would bet you don’t either. But maybe we should…
The New Year is coming up and you might already be thinking about your resolutions (which I think are a waste of time if they aren’t super targeted.) Maybe you want to stop obsessively checking your emails, or drinking less soda. Why not start with some simple things so you’ll be in good shape when the New Year rolls around??
Here are three things to add to your “To-Don’t” List so you’re in good shape to accomplish your resolutions, no matter what they are.
1) Negative thoughts.?
The days are getting shorter and the weather is getting grayer. But don’t let that impact your mood. At the end of the day it’s tempting to obsess over the things you got wrong. But that won’t change anything.?
So what if you missed the bus? It’s okay – there’ll be another one!
2) Things you hate.
At the bottom of your to-do lists there will probably be a couple of boring and time consuming tasks that are important, but not that important.?

The best thing you can do is to stop doing those tasks! I’m serious — look into an app like TaskRabbit as a way to outsourcing jobs you don’t need to be doing yourself.?
Freeing up your time for more important and fun tasks!
3) Junk food.
We would all eat more healthily if junk food wasn’t so tasty and convenient!?
There’s nothing wrong with a burger every now and again, but when you treat yourself better you tend to feel better.
Those are a few easy things to start trying before your bigger resolutions in 2022!
