It’s a brand new month and I can smell the confidence in the air, my friend. The Fourth Bond's progress is nothing short of incredible ??????????
Today we kicked off Week 5. A topic we always dig into is mindset. Here's a Monday mornin' mindset treat for you
Life is an experiment
My design education taught me how to prototype. I learned how to make a scrappy version of an idea before investing time and energy in it. This is the mindset I apply to most things in my life. When you see everything as an experiment, you're far more willing to take risks, acknowledge failure, learn, and try again. That's what experiments are all about: discovery and growth. There is no real failure because experiments give you data. They make you smarter and give you the confidence to take leaps.
Discomfort is a compass
I think that learning to live with uncertainty and discomfort is the key skill required for successful entrepreneurship. It's something I'm always intentionally working on. In this context, I know it's time to stretch myself if I feel too comfortable.?

Discomfort is also key when it comes to being a good ally. Being an ally should cost you something. It will feel uncomfortable. In this context, I use my discomfort as a barometer of my progress.?
“I don’t know" is powerful
Imagine the scale of positive change that would happen if our leaders said I don't know more often? Not knowing does not make you weak. In fact, sharing that you don't know can give you a sense of security and power. It means you'll be wrong less often. It allows you to be honest. I'm confident knowing I will say '" don't know" when I don't know and that will be okay.
I'm really curious about the idea(s) keep your confidence in a good place??
