Mevo is a Logitech company and they are constantly updating, improving and have launched what I consider a superb product. Disclosure: I am not paid by anyone associated with this company and have been tearing apart, testing and reviewing the 3 Pack system for the past few months.
This article looks at both issues to save time and money and to focus on the most relevant aspect of the entire system, your skills and content organisation.

So, just before I discuss the stuff you need to assemble, let's pause and consider the following:

Will the designer or manufacturer provide an expert guest?
What other supportive materials such as graphics or studies can be used to support your story & claims?
Have you considered the regulatory and ethical aspects of your product?
Do you need a script or are you thoroughly familiar with the material and just need some fact cards nearby?
Most importantly, keep it short and sweet. Eliminate clutter and keep the focus on the product, not you!

Rule No. 1. Talent and content matter, not technology.
I have reviewed a few dozen video capture systems. I decided to go with Logitech’s Mevo 3 camera system for a price of $1,000, which I was fortunate to receive. This system provides the ability to control camera shots via a phone or iPad, zoom and crop images, control exposure, quality, audio levels, very basic graphics and stream all this live across multiple platforms as easy as the touch of a button.
What you do not need and can do without is obvious once you know the basics. The barriers to entry are technology, mass streaming and/or broadcast distribution, and merchandise acquisition. Fulfilment and risk.
Rule No. 2: Get organised.
To understand your requirements, limitations, capabilities, and flexibility, you need to consider and answer these questions first. Some may not affect your budget.

You need 1-2 lights. A reflector below the subject aimed up towards the chin helps lift your subject and some backlight creates separation which is useful. You can, if available, spend between $20 and $50 on two sets of lights.
You can improve audio quality with a Lavalier or lapel mic or a mini shotgun mic. I tested Mevo built-in mic vs a Lavalier and mini shotgun and for a small investment one can improve the audio. You should also consider the acoustics of the room in which you work? Although the built-in audio was OK and some audio abatement to absorb sound bouncing off hard surfaces always helps. You can use a rug or a few carpet tiles. Mics cost $25 to $200 USD. The key is to start with less, learn and experience, then invest if necessary.
In addition to mounting the cameras on stands, there are also affordable clamps and magnets for attaching the cameras to pipes or metal objects. Mevo makes high quality stands and table top armature stands.

You will need stands and/or clamps to hold the cameras so budget another $200-$300 or so.
Visual marketing romances the product without embellishment or hype. Truth and soft sell win over hard sell. You have to treat the product, both verbally and physically, as a highly valued item. And the formula for explaining and seducing the consumer is simple.
You must plan and begin with the basic selling structure. Features, advantages & benefits known as F.A.B., a value proposition and a demonstration.
Stories connect and facts matter. However, everything has to connect to how we would use and be delighted by something, whether it is practical, status- enhancing, or aesthetically pleasing.
Sounds simple but few really focus on this and the art of selling visually is lost as shop channels turn short-term and desperate for growth. This is not working for many worldwide.
Rule No. 5
Any presentation should not be too detailed. The retention rate declines rapidly after 7 details. If you make it short and sharp, they will remember it. Filter and summarize the most critical points if you have too much information.

And always try to leave with something memorable and useful. People will connect and want more.

In Conclusion: I have reviewed tech products in the past 35+ years and I am as impressed with the support, articles on the web site and video content as I am with the technology and build quality. Imagine they even explain and show how to replace the 6 hour built in battery which might be necessary after a few years use? And Mevo will only get better!
