Three hardwood refinishing questions
Hardwood floor refinishing is one of the things that gives your floors a long lifespan. It erases years of wear and damage to leave beautiful results.

1. How do I know if my floors need hardwood floor refinishing?

2. How long does the hardwood refinishing process take?
There is no single answer to this question, as needs differ from homeowner to homeowner. However, the service can generally take two to seven days, especially if adding color.
If repairs are necessary, it could take a bit longer. However, subfloor and floor repairs will be done before refinishing for great results.
3. What does the service include?
Hardwood floor refinishing typically starts with sanding to remove all the affected layers of flooring. After sanding floors, a stain color will be applied, finish, and sealant.
Once the service is complete, you can walk on the floors in socks after 24 hours. But wait at least 48 hours before returning furniture, and longer if the pieces are heavy.
