Three Free MemberWise Webinars for w/c 4th May - Join Us!
We are pleased to announce an extension to our comprehensive weekly programme of interactive and educational webinars exclusively for Membership and Association Professionals (in response to popular demand during COVID-19).
Each week we will now deliver up to 3 free one-hour sessions that focus on a range of topical member facing areas/issues. Our focus, for the week commencing 4th May, will be CPD, Online Learning and Understanding the 'New Normal'.
As many of you will know webinars vary in format from best practice presentations, virtual panels and 'in conversation with...' interviews.
I have profiled next week's sessions below and provided a link to our growing portfolio of on-demand webinars delivered with the British Horse Society, National Landlords Association, CIPD and a range of leading sector suppliers.
In Conversation with CPD Professionals: A Panel Approach (2pm / Tuesday 5th May)
Panel Participants: Richard Gott, MemberWise Network Chair, Amanda Rosewarne (CEO / CPD Standards Office), Stephanie Richardson (Independent Consultant and CPD Practitioner), Linda Prescott-Clements (Director of Education at RCVS), Joni Tyler(Head of CPD) at RIBA and Clare Hodgson (Senior Manager Professional Development Products) at ACCA.
I am particularly looking forward to this webinar as the 'CPD Power Panel' will explore a number of CPD related topic areas relevant to the current COVID-19 situation. Will the panel agree on if it is right to change the CPD requirement due to the current situation? Are professional bodies currently getting CPD right? What are different industries doing to enable the continuation of learning and development? If you are responsible for CPD/Learning this webinar is 'Must Attend' territory!
Learning Objectives:
- Hear from organisations and consultants that have an overview of CPD best practice and advice across segments in the sector.
- Hear about case studies of how some membership bodies are getting CPD right for their members.
- Hear about how CPD strategy developed now can ensure this kind of crisis doesn't impact again.
