Three Cheers to Doctors and Nurses!

Three Cheers to Doctors and Nurses!

I've stumbled onto this image yesterday. It looks like something Banksy would have created but I don't think it is. Not sure who the author is, so I can't give proper credit.

Yes, it is cheesy, but somehow it captures the sadness at the loss of life, the exhaustion, and the weight of the responsibility all health care professionals must feel. So I thought I'd share it and thank them all for literally risking their health and life in the fight against the pandemic.

Happy belated National Doctor's Day - March 30, and looking forward to properly celebrate the nurses week in the second week of May. I sincerely hope things get back to normal by then! BTW: I didn't realize that this year is the 200 anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birthday.

The best thing we can do now is to take it seriously and isolate ourselves to stop the spread of the virus. Let's all do our share, and think and support those who can't just wait it out at home. A couple of weeks of mandatory family time does not sound so bad...
