The Three (3) R’s A Case Study in Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis

“Studying the Three Expands Your Mind and Allows it to Be Flexable.”
                               Matthew J. Gaydos

INTRODUCTION

This is the reason why individuals learn quicker and recall information faster because they know how to use these three (3) and utilize them well.

?

When write copy, I love to start by taking the time to speak and to thank God or Yahweh for all that he has given me. God or Yahweh has given me the ability to critically:

?

Think, Analyze and Solve Problems through thinking logically and critically. (Gaydos p.6) You can also use the above skills to write copy well. These skill developments, are from God himself.

?

How did this happen? I asked Yahweh to help me. To give me the courage and strength to allow me to: solve problems, follow the law, become a good speaker and be a good writer. This is a continuous work in process.

?

Studying the “Three (3) R’s” daily, will help in your daily life. Daily study will keep your mind moving and cobwebs from the attack. You can keep your mind nimble and your thoughts free flowing. You can fend off all meniscal thoughts and fiery darts of the evil one.

?

PART I

READING

In being all the above you need to be a good reader. You need to be able to titrate and rip apart and dissect what is on the pages before you. You need to be a good reader.

?

The other skill which God or Yahweh allowed me to develop is reading. We, as a society, consume a great deal of reading material in our day. We must have the strength and stamina to “stand in” and read and dissect the material.

Even if we are getting our news online or on TV, there can be subtitles all over. We must know how to read those subtitles. There is no shame in not knowing how to read. There are people out in the world that do not know how to read. If you cannot read, get help and find someone whom you trust to assist in getting you help.

Even if we are getting our news online or on TV, there can be subtitles all over. We must know how to read those subtitles. There is no shame in not knowing how to read. There are people out in the world that do not know how to read.

?

If you cannot read, that is ok. Find someone whom you trust to assist in getting you help.

Reading is very important in this day and age. Reading teaches us how to handle and process information more succinctly and efficiently.

?

Reading allows US to build a better network with each other. This skill allows us to reflect on our daily routines and write them down in our journals.

?

Reading makes us a broader and more of a well-rounded individual. Reading ignites our minds and allows us to think in-depth about certain topics.

?

Reading allows us to carry on conversations about different topic areas with others. Reading allows us to be transparent in our thinking, talking and asking more In-Depth and Thought provoking questions. Reading allows us to ask poignant questions in that thought provoking process.

?

Why We read what we DO?

Teaching Thyself

When you read, you are teaching yourself and that is the summit of learning. Learning independently and acquiring help when needed it is the best conservative way to educated thyself.

?

This can be accomplished through YouTube videos and videos you create. Never underestimate the power of learning and asking questions.?

?

We read the material we do because it makes us richer in knowledge and in making our dreams become a reality.

?

According to Open Education Database, Reading makes you have a more understanding and expands your vocabulary. This is true reading will put you in a different frame of mind. https://oedb.org/ilibrarian

?

Your vocabulary becomes an oasis and the thoughts are the water.

?

According to Vearsa.com “Reading not only tickles their fancies in the right way - it also helps them develop sympathetic social skills apart from high-stress social environments.”

?

Special Skills

Introspection

According to Vearsa.com Reading allows us to help others by allowing us to see situations through the eyes of the other person(s).

?

Reading gives us an introspection into what is going on with the story or copy. Much like the words you are reading now.

?

Thinking in-depth and introspectively about the actions of the words on the page increases your mind’s power and ability to process and figure out (Analyze) solutions to problems.

?

A bigger and broader mind set (scope) of analyzing what you are reading adds value to your organization.

?

?

Reading is the vessel that allows us to be transported to other areas of: space, time (Physics) and Sections of Lands in the United States of America.

?

We can visualize through words other people (the characters), their makeup and what makes them tick. When we read we can observe the character’s through the eyes of the author(s).?

?

Critical Thinking

Thinking critically will make you add value to the organization or group you are in. ?You want to be the individual in the room or area that ask the in-depth questions so you can gain Intelligent (Latin: Intelligentsia) to add value to the lives of others.

?

Reading is knowledge. Knowledge shall build and expand the: mind, vocabulary and will be with you. Reading = Knowledge and Knowledge = Intelligentsia

“Reading = Knowledge and Knowledge = Intelligentsia”
                          Matthew J. Gaydos

According to Lifehack.com, reading allows you to have self-confidence and improves your vocabulary.

?

When learning, we should act as children of God or Yahweh. Have a nimble and malleable mind while be able to learn from mistakes and being corrected concurrently.

?

Put way the sin of pride and being vain. Keeping these two (2) sins at bay will allow you to psychologically improve your Learning and Thinking.

?

THINKING or MEDITATION

Ponder this quote. “Understand what I say: for the Lord will give thee in all things understanding.” (2Tim2:7) St Paul made a very profound, insightful statement.

The Lord will allow you to comprehend what God or Yahweh is saying. We must listen, think ponder his words. Meditation is the key.

Meditating on His words, will help keep YOU calm and focused. Being calm and focused is what a person in God’s plan should do. WE are part of God’s plan we should do as he says.

He wants us to talk and come to him in hour(s) of need. Isaiah 41.10 and in Psalm. 10 it discusses this intently. Never be afraid of speaking to God or Yahweh.

I was studying to a Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic Priest. While studying at the seminary the clergy, religious and the laity have said Meditating on God is a higher form of prayer.

Joshua verse 1:8 states this visibility. Focusing on God or Yahweh, will bring you to a more “centered” way of life.

Sitting quietly and not allowing noise in will put you in a more focused thought pattern. You shall be able to fight and “extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one” (Eph. 6-16).

This sitting quietly trains your mind to mentally and psychologically be strong. People cannot distract you and force your attention away from God.

Focusing and Mediating on God blocks out all the noise so you can think. Focusing and Mediating allows your mind to become more centered and focus more deeply on your own: thoughts, job duties or what you are reading.

Becoming mentally strong daily is what you want. The worrying will subside and the thought patterns will not be so erratic

When read, we need to think about and meditate on what we are reading. in order to titrate and break down what is going on in the paragraph of the copy. Just like you are doing here.

?

Part II

WRITING

Why do we write? We write because we have something to say. Whether we write: professionally or personal use we should write. In this writer’s humble opinion, WE should write and write daily.

?

Putting words down on paper forces your mind to be more powerful and proactive. By writing words on the page forces your mind to work at the emotional level. Jeramiah 30:2 stipulates this on writing.

?

It allows you to do and act not just think about it. Writing words makes the mind work better and you have more control over your thoughts. This allows your ideas to flow more freely and not just in your head.

?

Storytelling

When writing, you the writer must be a masterful storyteller. A masterful storyteller is good at not only creating: conflict, struggles, with resolutions, research and copy.

?

Creating the ebb and flow of conflict, struggles with conflict along with resolutions to the conflict. This is part of the core of storytelling conflict.

?

Have a strong theme and make your audience interact with that them and you. The audience is where you are getting to. Make sure your writing brings the audience inward so they can feel the pain that you the writer are trying to convey.

?

You need to have relationship building. This is true in writing, storytelling and in work. Relationship building in a form of networking where the magic happens.

?

Network building is trust building and bonding. You always want to instill trust, trust and more trust in the writing through character development. Jesus was a masterful storyteller. He told his stories through parables.

“An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest.”
                               Benjamin Franklin

?

It is not secret that Ben Franklin is a favorite of mine. He was not only a Founding Father he was: An Avis Reader, Writer, A Mentor, An Inventor and An overall Inquisitive person.

Investing in THYSELF is the best way to pay for your future. Never forget this statement. A good way to do this is to write down everything you want to make happen. This begins in Broca’s Area (left Frontal Lobe).

?

?This area allows you to turn the ideas of thoughts or in Slavonic (Misli) into written words and the magic of your writing begins.

?

Before you begin writing your brain is full on overdrive mode. Full of clutter, jargon and the like. When you write, such as I am doing now, your brain is cleaning out the clutter and allowing the writing process to come through.

?

This is why writing words on a page is so powerful. It not only allow the clog or writer’s block to be release but, you feel better. You see your own words on the page. As I am doing before you. I do get Writer’s Block.

I combat writer’s block by keeping my: mind moving, attic cleared and stress level down. This causes something very powerful to happen in your brain. Writing down words on the page holds your “own-self” accountable.

?

?Mentally Strong People

?

Mentally strong people allow themselves to make misstates, do not put other’s down (in the process). Mentally strong people give themselves positive self-talk upon making mistakes and utilizing positive self-talk to their own advantage(s).

?

Writing helps you stay more mentally focused and strong. Writing is the exercise “or workout” your mind needs in order to be physically, psychologically and mentally fit.

?

?Mentally strong people keep a journal. They discuss in great length the: good, bad and the ugly thoughts of the day, situation and conversations.

?

?Mentally strong people keep a positive self-talk about every situation. They also ask poignant questions to their: friends, colleagues and acquiesces.

Journaling

Why should you journal? Journaling allows our thoughts to come forth and your mind wakes up. Journaling allows you to have an open communication with yourself. Journaling is taking your mind for a workout.?

?

Journaling is a “writing exercise” for your mind. This skill of writing allows you to have thoughts or scenario(s) in your mind and have them flow to paper.

?

This writing exercise of journaling, makes you have a clear: mind and thoughts, so you can express them outwardly. Journaling, allows the flow of your own ideas to paper and keeps them focused and logical.

?

Two (2) Secrets:

1) Journaling is a form of expressing one’s self. I write my thoughts in a notebook then into my journal. That is how I write. I also go to a local Café: The Purple Rose.

?2) I take notes or on my priest’s homily and transfer these notes into my journal. I do this so I can keep him in the back of my mind. Why? So I can KEEP MY COOL.

“Want to be in the know, write like a MOJO.”
                               Matthew J. Gaydos

Keep journaling connections. You shall see changes in your writing:

1) How your writing is improving (expressing your thoughts) =

2) Expressing thyself.

Take it from me, if you want to be “in the know” write like a mojo.

Now that is good Quote.

Always journal so you can have a clear mind for your next work day.

Journaling can give you an enthusiastic thought workout. So your mind is clear, your thoughts are correct and you are true to yourself.?

?

Languages

Writing allows you to read other languages or Linguistics including English. This dove tails into diagraming sentences.

?

Why should we learn to Diagram Sentences? It helps you understand our English Language better. This is just like learning Calculus.

?

Diagraming sentences allow you to formulate sentences better. If you study the techniques of Diagraming Sentences you can achieve better writing.

How to Diagram Sentences

1. Subjects and the verbs

In order to be a sentence, a sentence must have a subject (typically a noun) and a verb. Draw a straight line horizontal on your page. It will look like this:?___________________.

Draw a vertical line in the middle. On the left side of the line, write your?subject. On the right side, write your?verb.

?

2. Articles, adjectives, and adverbs

To diagram an article, adjective, or adverb, simply draw a diagonal line underneath the word it is modifying.

?

When you learn something new your mind has neurons firing and connections or communications are being made. This is a process of a synapses function.

?

When a person asks you a question you can help them arrive at an answer promptly without any obstructions.??

?

PART III

?

A Mentally Challenging Workout

Math

Why should we study Math? According to www.cedarcrest.edu and homeworkerdoer.org studying math is fun and useful. Studying math helps you to solve problems and logically solve issues at hand.

?

?

Math is also a practical and Challenging workout; for “the Mind.” Math allows you to develop the following skills: Critical, Logical and Analytical Thinking.

?

?

Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking means analyzing an issue even if you are correct or incorrect. Analyze the whole Process. That is part of an Engineer’s Job; to analyze.

?

?

The trick; analyze your work (Latin: OPUS) and are you doing it correctly and beneficial to the business’s needs.

?

?

Studying Math makes our minds become malleable or pliable to arrive at better solutions for our work and for ourselves. We can break down or titrate the problem or issue in a faster and more succinct way.

?

Studying math allows us to remain calm in situations and focus to come up with solutions quicker.

??

A Secret: Keep the Solution Simple…… Not Complex.?

?

No alt text provided for this image

Listening Skills

You must listen when you are working in the COAL MINES also.

Math also develops your listening and overall “vantage viewpoint.” Meaning, Math allows you to see other peoples’ views and not judge them so harshly.

Math allows you to visualize the others’ viewpoints. This dovetails into Confidence and confidence is what we need.

?Confidence

Confidence means asking tough questions that you can attain the answer with. WE all need a little “HELP” AND WE all GET BY WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM OUR FRIENDS.” How about that music (from the Fab Four) to make your day sing????

?

I have stated this before and will continue to do so!!!! If you do not understand something do not be proud and ask for help. Do not shoulder the confusion alone; ask for assistance.

?

In today’s world, we need to take a good hard look at issues and problems. Titrate them or break it down into its minute form(s) to get the solution.

?

This is where the logical side of math comes to play. Have to confidence to set up the conversation so you can attain the answers you need.

PART IV

Problem Solving

Setting Up Problems

Setting up the math problem is the hard part. Believe me, I know. What helps is reading and breaking down the problem into its simplest form.

Note:

1) If you are having trouble getting your problem(s) set up; seek out You Tube videos for assistance.?

2) You know where you are mathematically. Try some math a little about your comfort zone. You may surprise yourself. I did I am getting Calculus but, I must read it slow and take my time.

?

I sucked at math; period. I thought about giving up on math because I just could not get it. I got tutored, asked questions and watched YouTube videos. I turned and negative into a positive.

I took one class at a time and focused on that class solely. I received and Associate’s in accounting. How about that for a person who had bad math grades.

?

Let’s get back to math. Setting up the problem means knowing what they are asking for in the problem. It means knowing how to read math and what is going on with the problem.

Read the problem at least three to four (3-4) times to really get your brain working. See, reading is critical for everything you do.

The first line is always the hard part; setting up the problem. After that you can really go to work on subsequence lines. Getting to the answer in a logical manner is what you want.

Follow the rules and laws in math. That is what you are being taught in the book. Setting up the situation or problem in the correct logical sequence on your own.

When you mentally challenge yourself to set up the problem you gain a vote of confidence. You must see the problem(s) in your mind’s eye.

Force yourself not give up on yourself. I did not give up on myself. I made my liabilities: bad grades and bad problem setups into Assets. I believed in myself and got better at: Math, Communication and Problem Solving.

A Big Secret: Ask questions and Ask for help in you do not understand something. Do not get in over your head. If is ok to ask for a starting point, then you are off and thinking and titrating. Solving problems and communicating mathematically and succulently.

Limits in Calculus and Polynomials in mathematics are a good examples of getting the wheels moving and grooving. Studying the both lays to foundation to facilitate your growth in the stated disciplines.

We should study limits because it sets or lays the ground work for all other areas in Science or Business. The Limit is the change (Delta) in Y over the change (Delta) in X. If you know this you can master math in “time.” That is the essence on the limit or science; TIME.

These items will surely make your head spin. If you have help with this by going to the links below you shall see how it is solved.

?

https://www.mvorganizing.org/why-are-limits-important-in-calculus/

?

That is a skill in math also: Explaining something in its simplest form. Drawing on “plan or graphing paper” is a way to do so.

?

A good example of limits are at the link below:

https://www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-calculus-ab/ab-limits-new/ab-1-2/a/limits-intro

?

In Summation,

Reading, Writing and doing Math allows you to share what you know in a very calm, logical and succinct manner. For the above to transpire, you must keep your mind moving and Grinding.

?

Why? The cobwebs and For Rents sings will be off your property. Do not let the animals or people rent space in your head for free.

?

You are in charge of your mind. No Body Else. Keep your mind focused on: God, The Laws on: God, Science and the Legal Laws (The Federalist Papers).
