Threat Sharing

Unfortunately, this is one of the downsides of mass hysteria. There is no doubt in my mind that the Coronavirus has achieved pandemic status. I do question whether it has achieved the notoriety of the bubonic plague. Whether one believes that it is the worldwide threat that mainstream media is portraying or not, this downside is both opportunistic, as well as gainful for bad actors. It is also why we as professionals need to be aware, so that we can better protect our organizations.

I read this brief report that says it all. The authors of the report underscore how fear can easily become our biggest vulnerability.
