Threads is Here: Where are You?

We're sure you've heard that Instagram launched its new social media app, TonePe Products .

Rivalling Twitter , this app is all about connection and conversations, and the reception so far has been positive!

Here's our quick cheat sheet on the current status of the latest app:

• It’s the new text-based app from Meta.
• You need to have an Instagram account to join.
• You can sync your IG account and auto-follow the same followers.
• Over 10 MILLION people joined in the first 4 hours.
• The current limit is 500 characters.
• Your “timeline” is a mix of people you follow and people you don’t.
• It’s starting much less polished and more authentic than most social apps.
• There are currently no DM’s or ads.
• Hashtags haven’t made an appearance yet, either.
