Q: What do you enjoy most about working with the finance team at HiEnd Accents, and how do you foster strong relationships within the team?
A: What I enjoy most about working with the finance team at HiEnd Accents is the collaborative spirit and shared commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Everyone is focused on achieving the same goals, which creates a supportive environment where we can rely on each other for help and insights. I also appreciate the open communication, which makes it easy to solve problems and improve processes together.
Q: What excites you most about the future of bookkeeping and finance at HiEnd Accents, and how do you see your role evolving?
A: What excites me most about the future of bookkeeping and finance at HiEnd Accents is the chance to integrate new technologies that make things more efficient and secure. I see my role evolving into one where I help streamline processes and provide valuable insights to support the company's growth.
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’ve received that had the biggest impact on your career, and how have you applied it to your work?
A: Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are no wrong or right questions—only a curious mind. When in doubt, I always ask questions to my colleagues and superiors, their answers are always filled with sincerity and knowledge which I truly appreciate.
Q: Outside of balancing numbers, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy that help you unwind?
A: Definitely food and family. My family either cooks together, shares meals or explores new restaurants. Recently, we have been addicted to anything with curry sauce.
Q: What’s something you’re passionate about outside of work that might surprise your colleagues?
A: Baking. I love cakes and croissants. I plan to take up baking school next year.
Q: Are there any recent books, podcasts, or experiences that have influenced your personal or professional growth?
A: The Little Prince?by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a book I revisit every year; it still manages to delight me each time.
Q: If you could explore a completely different career or hobby, what would it be and why?
A: If I were to explore a new career, it would be baking. There's something deeply satisfying about creating something tangible and delicious, especially when it involves precision, creativity, and passion.
Q: How do your outside interests like travel or personal development inform your approach to work?
A: Since joining HiEnd Accents whenever I travel I'm now very particular about top-of-the-bed details; it can really enhance the overall aesthetic and comfort of a space. This reflects the quality and style I've come to appreciate at HiEnd Accents.
Q: What’s a hobby or passion project you’re currently working on that keeps you motivated and inspired?
A: I am slowly returning to practicing yoga again. I need to keep up with my baby’s energy ??
