Thoughts on what Accounting System (i.e. Quickbooks, etc) to use for a new small business (i.e. a non-profit that would assist men who are laid off)

Thoughts on what Accounting System (i.e. Quickbooks, etc) to use for a new small business (i.e. a non-profit that would assist men who are abruptly let go from their jobs)?
I have used Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online but the Online version is a mess (in my humble opinion). I prefer to get a laptop and then put the Accounting System on the laptop like Quickbooks Desktop.
Would any company be willing to donate a new laptop (maybe $400-$600 value)?
Would any company be willing to donate an Accounting System (maybe $700-$1,000).
Would anyone, any place, etc be willing to donate the money so that this new business can purchase things outright? Just curious.
We were going to hire a grant writer to write grants that would try to find funding for the new laptop and Accounting software. Anyone know of a grant writer? connect with me and send me a message.
We were also going to try to write grants to get funding to pay for an annual audit? Or is there a an Accounting Firm willing to say right now that they will do the audit for free?
