Thoughts #Tinder(ing) Recruitment

In my earlier article on how tinder based apps for recruitment are cropping up and how they can positively impact performance at large firms, in this post I would like to seek feedback from you all about your feelings about about such apps. The areas about which I feel concerned are highlighted below, and you can add on any benefits or concern areas in the comment section:

1. Relationship Type: Tinder is a dating app, not a matrimony website. Similarly, tinder based apps do not encourage long term relationships, nor do they discourage them. They only give more opportunities, but then, more opportunities mean more job changes #attrition ..a word which organizations are not so excited to hear.

2. Professionalism: Would the apps spell trouble in the hands of irresponsible hiring managers / recruiters?

3. Benefits for real? A few benefits highlighted like better opportunities, reduced TAT, etc may be mirages, for when we lineup people by calling, emailing, SMSing and even whatsapp'ing them, quite a few still don't turn up, forget about reneging on the offer! So, the important question is, with an app-only based approach, would candidates be more engaged, or will they become more distant from the employer

And of course, there may be things which I am missing, so as mentioned at the start of the post, awaiting valuable inputs from your end.
