Thoughts For Success By: D.L. Owens
When you consider your business model there are four areas that you should be mindful of as you prepare for your 1st day. I must say that when these were presented to me I had a different concept of what each of these catagories meant. Having the proper understanding is critical to your successful planning and the marketing of your idea and product.
1) TRAFFIC- Generally speaking when we think of traffic we think of folks coming in and out of our doors to do business or buy products. In all actuallity TRAFFIC is where your business is located. Is your business located in a place that provides ample parking, a steady flow of people who will enter your doors to do commerce? Be strategic in where your traffic will be coming from. Inexpensive rent in an area that is not going to produce a steady stream of people who can get in and out of your establishment isn't a deal at all!
2) CASHFLOW- Refers to the customers who will be spending money and providing cash into your business. CASHFLOW is important for you to be able to stay fluid and buy the supplies and items needed to furnish your end product or service, pay your rent and contracts.
3) NAMES - Are the folks who will invest their time to investigate your business. It is the names of folks who can potentially be drawn in to do commerce in your establishment or office. The more NAMES (sometimes called leads) you have access to the more opportunity you have to create CASHFLOW in your place of TRAFFIC.
4) CUSTOMERS - Are the NAMES you convert into CASHFLOW for your business.
Now that you have better understanding of these terms plan accordingly and you will increase the likelihood of your business' success! Thoughts for success!
