Celebrating Easter, the most meaningful day of the Christian calendar! Today, we share a few fundamental principles of the Greatest Leader, our Risen, Living Savior, Jesus Christ.
· Humility: Jesus lived a humble, earthly life. Accepted and fulfilled his mission and placed the needs of others before his own.
o “…though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.” (Philippians 2:6-7)
· Servant leadership: Jesus defined it! He left the comfort of Heaven to teach, serve and sacrifice himself. He left us the Holy Spirit to guide us and continues to serve us by interceding for our salvation.
o “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” (Mark 9:35b)
· Team builder: Jesus was an astutely effective team builder and the master of delegation. Bringing together ordinary people and equipping them to do extraordinary things. Granting them (us) the power and authority to fulfill the Great Commission of discipleship, faith and restoration.
o “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
Just a few thoughts -
Best wishes to you and yours for a Happy, Healthy, Safe and Blessed Easter!
