· Charismatic leaders are able to draw people to them. Charisma aside, the true measure of their ability to lead is defined by the character they model and the manner in which they treat their people.
· Extraordinary leaders never lose sight of the fact that leading a team loaded with talent - on its own - doesn’t always result in success. Mission objectives will go unrealized and the benefits of raw talent remain unfulfilled when the person in charge fails to openly validate and support the true worth of each team member.
· Effective leaders must be able to articulate a detailed picture of the organization’s vision in order to gain buy-in and inspire commitment from their teams.
