Thoughts On Leading

· A leader must ALWAYS exhibit positivity – especially when the going gets tough. When the person in charge falls in to a negative mindset and show defeat, very noticeable cracks begin to develop in their ability to lead.
· Some leaders can waste time trying to be liked. If they just focus on being consistently respectful, honest, trustworthy, fair and kind – they will be liked.
· Teams led by strong leaders are more engaged and able to capitalize on mistakes - without pointing fingers. Instead, they see opportunities to collectively learn, grow and contribute to the mission. When properly addressed, mistakes, errors and oversights will usually present opportunities for team building, creativity, learning, and progress.
Just a few thoughts –
Best wishes to you and your teams for a productive week.
