Thoughts about Leadership
For 15 years I’ve been assessing Leadership. I’ve been recruiting Leadership. I’ve handled Leadership. I’ve been designing Leadership programs and buying Leadership training. I’ve been practicing my own Leadership. And I’ve been correcting Leadership when it’s out of line.
Still the main question remains: how do you create and develop good Leadership that is sustainable over time?
It starts with your Culture – what kind of organization do you want to be? We wanted to be a Value Culture filled with high personal Engagement & Motivation – on every level in the organization.
It’s followed by your believe how to get there – what strategy to use and what to practice and what to stop doing. We have chosen Inclusion and Coaching Leadership to help our people grow.
Than it’s planning and doing and follow up – have we get where we wanted?
After 4 years of doing I can say yes, we ended up where we wanted to be and we are re-creating this Value Culture on a daily basis – in all our intentions and attitudes and actions. We have become more than an organization – we have become a family with good intentions based on Values and with high Engagement & Motivation.
I’m proud to be a Leader and I’m safe in my trust that my colleagues have good intentions as Leaders in our organization.
