Thoughts from this week...

I am finishing a great week where we focused on amplifying women's voices and promoting #GenderEquality. I was fortunate to take the stage during the inspiring “LIFT as we Climb” Women in Technology Summit, discussing how personal branding can empower women in technology to thrive in their careers. Massive kudos to our LIFT community as we came together for this 4th event!

We all posses the power to shape a more equitable world together.

This week I also celebrated my 8th year at Red Hat. I'm grateful for these fantastic years where I have had the privilege of working with amazing people and learning from some of the best in the industry. I can’t wait to do more together!

During this time and while working in close collaboration with the #Telco community, I have seen the rapid adoption of #NFV with firstly #4G and now #5G and hybrid cloud across industries. #OpenSource technologies have expanded in a way previously unimagined, in a world dominated by proprietary software. We witnessed the adoption of end-to-end automation that is now powering the #AI revolution. We dealt with the intention to sunset 2G for voice and almost waving goodbye to 3G while 4G is still keeping it strong (thank you, Open RAN…phew). And as my 8th year kicks in, AI is taking over faster than anything we have witnessed before, turning CAPEX/OPEX discussions on their heads.?

I continue to believe that education and enablement is crucial for success and at the end nothing will work if we don’t come together as a community to support all these changes.?

It’s never not about choosing sides, it’s always about choosing progress.?

And to EVERYONE who has supported and inspired me so far — and for all the uplifting affection I have received since the start of the year not forgetting my promotion — I want to take a moment to express my sincere and humble gratitude for your unwavering support.
