Thoughts From My Whiteboard
It has been quite the week and I cannot wait to share everything with you, but it is going to have to wait.
After I got done speaking on the Disposition to Dominate at the ILTA (Illinois Land and Title Association) Annual Convention, I hustled over to O’Hare to pick up one of the greatest friends a person could ask for and his son for our annual Alley Drill Open Golf outing today and a Cub’s game with the family.
As I wound down last night in my office, I wrote some thoughts on my whiteboard.
These were things that I took from this week when I spent time with my family, friends, and all of the amazing conversations I had after my keynote on the Disposition to Dominate.
+ Keep getting people to laugh, cry, and think (the Jimmy V mindset) every talk and presentation I give
+ And… take time to laugh, cry, and think every day
+ Surround yourself with people who make you better and pour into them
+ Make gratitude a way of life
+ Just get better every day!
+ No matter how well things are going, be cognizant of what is happening in the lives of those around you and what they may be struggling with, and let them know you are here for them
+ Always, always, always remember the power of moments and keep intentionally creating them for others
+ Be present and aware enough to enjoy the unscripted moments
+ I am fortunate to love what I do, whom I do it with, whom I do it for, and truly know WHY I do it.
Have a great weekend!
