Hunger, hunger, hunger.
Oh, how I wish I never had to feel you.
You come with the darkest and saddest thoughts.
I get my best inspiration and motivation when I feel you.
I lose all sense of reason when you’ve been with me for more than a week.
Only the thought that you are just around the corner makes my heart sober.
I tend to indulge in gluttony when I let go of you.
Perhaps that’s why you visit me so often.
You make me ashamed to ask a true friend for help.
You make the ceiling look more beautiful than usual.
You give me a headache like no other.
You make me question the reason for my existence
You make me compare myself to others.
You make the most vulnerable part of me, the part I would rather keep hidden, visible to the world.
At the same time, you expose my worst traits, the ones I am not proud of, to the world.
What a life.
Do rich people go hungry?
If they do, certainly not like this.
Have you ever noticed how a flat pocket makes you so hungry that no food can satisfy you?
It puts you in a position of desperation.
Desperate never to feel that way again.
