Thoughts on EHS Software Selection – How We Create Customer Success

Some technology companies do not need to spend much on marketing simply because their customers become their biggest advocates. Getting a recommendation from a business friend carries a lot more weight than a fancy brochure or flashy video. Is it too complex to set up, even for them as a vendor, to quickly set up a trial instance for you? Rather than being cloud- and browser native, is there a need to install software or deploy code on the client that creates the need for IT support? Or is the application too complex and its user interface not intuitive enough to let you simply try it out. These shortcomings often lead to a bad awakening once customers discover the realities of complex to deploy software, friction with end-users, and the need for excessive IT and project support.
