Thoughts about Education
If we look at the future of education, several ideas come to mind: We have no idea what the world will look like other than the facts that China will be more influential and we have little knowledge of what the job market will look like and what skills will be needed.
Our technology is constantly changing and may influence our biology and brains. We do not know what laws will exist concerning what tasks robots will fulfill and what AI, artificial intelligence, will control; so what are we left with. What can we do?
My answer is love our children, teach them to read, use computers, love others, be kind, search for knowledge, problem solve, work in teams, looking at the cost and benefits of each possible solution and option, help them achieve emotional intelligence, and be happy. Moreover, the significance of people's life and experiences could be part of a child's education.
