1.????INTRODUCTION

We wish all our Readers a very Happy Independence Day-2023..!

Aug 15 is an auspicious day in our Yearly Calendar as we await, with bated breath,?for the Independence Day Speech of our Honorable Prime Minister, from the ramparts of the Red Fort. It is essentially a very exciting Speech, which highlights the achievements of the Govt. in the last one year, and also provides a rough sketch of the way ahead.

This Day is also auspicious, as the Prime Minister addresses the entire Nation, and celebrates the Independence?Day with all of us, every year.?(Let us also not forget that in recent years, the Prime Minister also addresses?the nation?through his Signature Radio Broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast every month). However, The Independence Day Speech is significant in its message of achievements & hope, and?energizes the Nation, for a great future ahead

Since the launch of my first Book ‘THOUGHT LEADERSHIP IN INDIA’ in 2019, which was an elaborate attempt to reconstruct the future of the Indian Economy for the next decade, I make it a point to follow it up with at least 2 Articles every year, the first during the Budget Days (Feb, every yr) & the second during the Independence Days (Aug, every yr).?This keeps me on the pulse of the Indian Economy, and provides me with enough material?for my next Book (some time in the near future)

2.????PRIME MINISTER’S SPEECH (2023) – SOME?HIGHLIGHTS

Our Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s?Speech on our 77th. Independence Day has been spectacular, with significant milestone achievements, and a?strong futuristic picture, for the next 24 yrs

Some of the?Highlights are as follows

a)?????AZAADI?KA AMRIT KAAL?(TILL 2047)

The Prime Minister has ushered in a 25 Yr Planning Period in 2022 @ 75 Yrs of our Independence, and aptly named it AZAADI KA AMRIT KAAL, that would make India a DEVELOPED NATION BY 2047.

Towards that, India is strengthening healthcare, building Infrastructure, empowering our Youth, creating Jobs, enhancing exports, and improving overall prosperity

This Year marks the completion of the first year, with significant milestones achievement, and ushers in a strong spell of excitement & hope, for the next 24 years

AMRIT KAAL is also identified as our KARTAVYA KAAL, or the Era of Duty of our Generation, to create a Prosperous Nation for our future generation.

The AMRIT KAAL Period is significantly important, as it can be seen as an unique opportunity to leave a positive impact, for the next 1000 Yrs.

b)????A NEW WORLD ORDER

Post Covid 19, we are seeing a NEW WORLD ORDER, where India has become a very significant player, having earned WORLDWIDE TRUST as a reliable BUSINESS PARTNER.

In recent terms, India is being perceived as a ‘VISHWAMITRA’, a friend of the leading nations of the world.

Having?hosted?G-20 Presidency in the last one year, India has truly climbed up the ladder of Global Rankings, in recent times.

This gives us an incredible opportunity to strengthen our position, from the World’s 5th. largest economy, to?the Top 3, in a few years time.

As a strong technology player, India is creating strong Tech Startups in every domain – Healthcare, Education, Financial Services, Food Processing & e-Commerce.

The Govt., on its turn, has provided significant handholding support to the Startup & MSME Ecosystem, through strong policies, financial support, and tax breaks

India’s Startups & MSME’s are poised to be future MNC’s, generating millions of Job Opportunities, in the near future
