Thought Leaders are Storytellers

"Lead by Example" is the first principle of leadership and something that have to be applied at all segments of our life, from children education to daily people interaction and relationships.

I'm bringing it up to the corporate context and sharing one of my most important values, not as tip, because, being true, really don't expect that someone take it as the true, everyone has your right and wrong and this is not my intention, but because i believe that learn and share is much more than take and leave and if i will influence someone with, i'm gonna be happy and proud enough, making sure that i'm contributing with something valuable. Be a Storyteller is one of most powerful competence to leverage & influence people on the way of high performance team buildings and consequence on the way of operational excellence.

Last week a famous Brazilian writer, Martha Medeiros, published on her weekly article in one of most important Brazilian Newspaper "At the end we're all consumers, not only of vacuum cleaner, cookies and steel scourer but consumers of fantasy, guffaws and love stories. We're consumers of pub chats as much as beers, consumers of vanity as much as perfumes, consumers of pleasure as much as of wine, at the end, we consume life not only products and services."

"Life is the added value of everything that we buy."

Thought Leaders have to leverage, have to influence, have to be an example to their followers and, thinking that we lead people, that are moved by motivation and motivation it is something personal, that have to be fomented by an inspiration, be vulnerable enough to be a storyteller. Be sure that we didn't come here to live, learn and leave, it is too small to someone that has the power to inspire and at end motivate and develop people, we came here, to live, learn, share and inspire people, leaving something to make the difference to someone else, building up something sustainable to the world.

Do not forget that to go further, people department is not enough, we must to have a Team.

Even to the ones that think only on own career success, do not refuse it, otherwise you'll not have anyone to take your chair when the "white horse"comes.
