Always do your best.......pay attention to the lessons. If we are to understand our lives, then we must understand the lessons that take us the longest to learn. We have to see the patterns and the coping strategies that no longer serve us. When we are broken apart by life, we need to pay attention to our part in what is happening. Sometimes we stuff, pushing things away from our active mind that we don't want to admit or deal with in the moment. Sometimes we rely on hope, and fool ourselves into thinking that without any action on our part....things will just get better. These are the habits that deprive us of our natural curiosity and the desire for continuous improvement, and so we numb our feelings.. Moving like a shadow in our own lives.

When, what we need to do is come alive, and open our eyes as if for the very first time. So that we can see what we need to see. This allows us to understand our choices and patterns without impunity. From this place we can decide how we want to be, and what needs to change in order to achieve that goal. Every moment we are given is an opportunity to make different choices, choices that allow us to live our best life. The more you notice the moments, the more insight you will have about you. Don't wait for life to deliver the joy and peace you desire. Step boldly towards your dreams and take action. Because when your life breaks apart....it is showing you a whole new way of being. So pay attention to the lessons and learn them the first time. Tranquility is one of those things that seems harder to find, the more frantically you search for it. Peace starts with you. Namaste.
Oprah said "There is not one experience, no matter how devastating, no matter how tortuous it may appear to have been, there is nothing that's ever wasted. Everything that is happening to you is being drawn into your life as a means to help you evolve into who you were really meant to be here on Earth. It's not the thing that matters, it's what that thing opens within you."
