Thought for the Day ~ What will your Legacy be?

Always do your best.....ask yourself what will my legacy be? While we are all here to do our best, to build our lives, our careers, and our families. We are also here for a purpose. We are here to shine our light. Our unique and loving light. A light that will not only light the way for others, but it will teach you a lot about yourself. Because legacy was never about making money or receiving applause for your deeds. It is about stretching yourself in the direction of goodness, of wholeheartedness, of kindness, and forgiveness. It is about your influence and your impact on this world. It's about making it a better place. It's about living for something bigger than yourself. ?We live in a world that reflects our energy back to us.. Where kindness seems to come in small doses, and anger and hate can fill up a room.
?
So, we must use kindness frequently, and this positive energy will come back to us. We must stretch ourselves towards goodness and believe in the possibilities of life for all. When we are young, we believe, we trust, we love, and then the world crowds in. So be more childlike. See the goodness and move towards the energy that matches your soul. Be of service and do your best to understand that while we are in this world together, we experience it differently. Look to what you have around you and be grateful, instead of searching for more. All that you take with you when you leave this world is love, friendship, and good deeds. So, life gently teaches us to never look for a lake when you are standing in the stream. And so, it is. Robin Sharma said "There are no extra people alive today. Every single one of us here for a reason, a special purpose, a mission. Yes, build a beautiful life for yourself and those you love. Yes be happy and have a lot of fun. And yes, become successful, on your own terms rather than on those suggested by society. But, above all else, be significant. Make your life matter. Be of use. And be of service to as many people as possible. This is how each of us can shift from the realm of the ordinary into the heights of the extraordinary. And walk among the best who have ever lived."
