Thought for the Day
Gratitude is the compass that guides us through the tumult of life, reminding us to cherish the good and plentiful that surrounds us.
"Gratitude is riches; Complaint is poverty."
Imagine the power of recognizing the myriad of blessings we're showered with each day, from the simple pleasure of a sunrise to the intricate web of supportive relationships that bolster our existence.
By valuing these treasures, we can shift our mindset and infuse even the most mundane experiences with significance and joy. This act of thankfulness is not just about feeling better; it's about creating a foundation of positivity that elevates our entire being. It's a transformative practice that, when embraced, can lead to a life of fulfillment and serenity.
In your own life, how do you integrate gratitude into your daily routine? In what ways has it influenced your approach to both personal and professional challenges?

1 年Exactly! We did this for three years with a group of college age kids that we lead in church services. Many at this age have perplexing challenges. Before we started a meeting we expressed 3 gratitudes. This set the tone for the meeting or activity or service. As Dr. Jones said, 'elevates our entire being'. I would add that it somehow motivates and lifts others too. Good sentiments. Thanks for your insights

1 年I express my gratitude every morning before I open my eyes to thank god for a new day and every night before I go to sleep for a wonderful day. And then there are lot of things happen during the day that I am thankful about.
