Today’s Challenge ~ Breathe Deeply?
?
Always do your best…..never underestimate the healing power of meditation and breathing. Because when you lose touch with inner peace, you lose touch with yourself. When you lose touch with yourself, you lose yourself in the world. So, it’s important to be aware of your energy levels. To pay attention to when you feel depleted, to notice when your shoulders are up, and your chin is buried while your jaw is fixed. To be mindful of your breathing and to notice if it is shallow and barely taking in air. This is the bodies way of saying that it needs stillness and deep breath. Deep breathing really can help you to relax and restore your energy. It is a wonderful way to start the day and it is a great way to lower stress and anxiety at any time. Three deep breaths will change the energy that you feel stuck in.

Sometimes we hold on too tightly to life. We are so busy trying to hold on to everything that we miss what is coming straight for us. Letting go and leaving a little space lets us see what we need to see. It lets us hold the mirror up so that we can hear when our soul is calling. It restores grace. Because if we fill up our lives right to the brim, then there is no space for anything new to come in. When our lives are cluttered with busyness, ?competing thoughts and we are pushing ourselves to continue at an impossible pace, we are depleting our own energy. The crowded hours come to us one moment at a time. Today, take a moment. Be in that moment. Let the moment go. Let the next moment come. Breathe.

Rebecca Campbell said “It’s the easiest and most natural part of life. So many of us go about our day taking shallow sips without air even reaching our bellies. Take a moment now to notice what your breath is doing right now. Is your breathing deep or shallow? Is it slow and deep, rapid, and shallow or perhaps you are holding it? Notice the difference between your inhalations and your exhalations. Begin to take in more air, pulling it deep into the corners of your bell, right down to your feet. Do not underestimate the healing potential of the simple action of taking a breath. To breathe deeply is to gulp in life. To breathe consciously is to say to the Universe, I am here, and I am ready to receive. Breathing in deeply can transform any stagnation or stuck energy.”
