Thots on strength training
I have a few thoughts on strength training.?I never wanted to spend hours at a gym and only have done this for a brief period in the past.?I have an article on weight training and I will include a link for you to read. It has some different thoughts on how to train for strength.?Over the years, I have changed the way I do strength training.?I now only do ''body weight exercise'' from a book "You Are Your Own Gym" by Mark Lauren (I also use his online routines).?Whether you choose to use his routines, is your choice.?What I got from the book is "the why" for varying your exercise routines in intensity, time, number of repetitions, etc. Another important thing that I learned is HOW to exercise and how to get the most out of the time spent. You can exercise at home or at a gym, the important thing is that you do. Exercise has become a ''4 letter word'' for some folks, so I just call it movement.?I like Lauren's video because of the different ways shown to move my body. Some are challenging and many of very easy and for me, I feel great with or without working up a sweat.??

2 年As you know I've worked out for years doing a variety of things. One I like the most is pilates. During the height of the pandemic I worked out at home doing pilates. Today I discovered a place that the owner has a degree in Kinesiology n teaches pilates. Game changer!! I've also learned to keep moving n do activities that keep your mind sharp are key.
