For those who have contributed to our Mission trip, a crowdfunding problem..

If have donated to our Ukraine Mission trip please read about the ongoing saga with the crowdfunding site I am having problems with.

Hi everyone,

Over the past 2 plus days I have corresponded and even talked on the phone to a support representative from Stripe about why contributions to my GiveSendGo site were halted. You have had me fill out numerous sections you said were not completed. There was/is an email discrepancy with an account with Fundly that I set up but did not use. I told several of you I did not recognize that email. The only email I ever use is: [email protected]. Stripe support told me to tell GiveSendGo to contact them as they thought it might be an integration problem. I really don’t think it is my job or anyone’s job who is seeking funding for a good cause to have to do that. You folks should do that and figure it out. There was also a reason given that the account was closed due to “fraudulent” activity. I understand the need for security and I am fully aware that there are unscrupulous people out there. Trust me, I know. I have been a law enforcement chaplain and international trainer for about 20 years and have a high security clearance for a federal agency I am a chaplain for. So while I understand fully the need to check things out, it concerns me that all the folks who have contributed to the amount of $1072 in my GiveSendGo may have to stop or challenge payment due to “fraudulent activity”. And frankly that is somewhat offensive.

I have attached a few pictures from the mission trip I led in November of 2019 to Ukraine to introduce peer support programs for Ukraine’s national patrol police as well as to meet in churches and launch chaplaincy programs. I have been offering virtual trainings for them since up until Russia invaded Ukraine. Since that time, those officers and chaplains have fought for their freedom, and they have brought food and water to those trapped and they have evacuated citizens who desperately needed to escape to Poland or Moldova or elsewhere. The very purpose of this trip I am seeking funding for is to provide psychological debriefing and crisis intervention training for those I have already trained. It is by all standards a very important trip. And because I do not make a lot of money, we need the money for airfare, and for humanitarian supplies. We are also supposed to bring body armour for those who need it and if time allows, I have been asked to provide psychological support for War Crimes investigators who can’t unseen the horrific things done to people, to children.

Please, don’t ask me to fill out any more forms that have been sent to me numerous times as they have not helped. Time is of the essence. I am not sure what to tell those who have donated and are wondering what to do. I didn’t want to have to use Paypal but have started doing so because the brave Ukrainian officers, and chaplains are wanting my help, and it would be a shame…a real shame…if I can’t afford to go and serve them.

I will be offering trainings for police officers out of town on Monday but need to have this resolved by Tuesday or I will contact all my donors that I am closing down the account and then you will have to inform them how to get their contributions back.

If you do not believe the veracity of what I am saying, and wondering if I am legitimate, please look at my website: www:resilientresponse.com or the podcast where I am a cohost: www.cops-anonymous.com

Here are a few pictures of those we served in 2019, and they are the ones I am called to minister to for this upcoming trip and beyond. Pictures taken at a conference at a large church in Kiev, , of me praying with a pastor in a church in eastern Ukraine.

Please fix this if you can!

Thank you!

Greg
