Those that take opportunities when presented end up dominating their industry

I was once asked how we are constantly evolving and growing our ideas. The answer is simple. Those that take opportunities when presented end up dominating their industry. We believe this with all that we are and as a result there has not been an area of expertise that we have not exploded. The key is to stay focused as we are running 100 mph on the goals set.
There is an old proverb that says Luck is the result of Hard work meeting Opportunity. Listen the most successful people are lucky, because they are seeking opportunity and working hard. In this day and age we all seek to work smarter not hard but the truth is to be successful you have to do both.
Only you can control the energy and effort your put into what you are doing. Something might fall in your lap every once in a while but success is not simply the obtainment but the keeping of your goal. If I lose 20 pounds on a diet but gain 22 did I really accomplish my goal? No way, I would say the same in business. If you lose all of the profits due to uncertainty or not taking opportunities, did you really obtain success.
If by this point you have not already thought of your missed opportunities in your life you might want to check your pulse. We all have them, the questions is what will you do the next time your GUT tells you to go for it but your logic wants to warn you? The longer your rationalize the decision the lower the the quality of that decision. YES or NO, if you are trying to convince yourself one way or the other, you have a less likely chance of success than going with your original thought. Don't believe me? Just make sure it was your limbic brain telling you so and not your neocortex telling you so...
