Thomas Jefferson University undergraduate students aim at changing the world this Fall 22 semester

Inspired by the research work done thus far by 38 (thirty eight) undergraduate students in my courses this Fall 22 semester, I have decided to repost "Changing the World" advice video message by Admiral McRaven given in 2014, yet still so relevant today as the students are doing research on products and services for social impact. In particular, they are engaged in research activities along the lines: “Migrants and refugees are not pawns on the chessboard of humanity. They are children, women and men who leave or who are forced to leave their homes for various reasons, who share a legitimate desire for knowing and having, but above all for being more.” We live in the Age of Migration where resettlement is a key factor in economic and political changes. The underlying causes are population growth, disparity between rich and poor, economic inequality, increased globalization, political instability, climate change, diseases, etc. As of the midterm, all of the teams are doing great. I can't wait what the end of the semester will bring.
