Thom Browne?has prevailed in his trademark infringement suit against?Adidas.

On Thursday afternoon, less than three hours after closing arguments concluded, the eight-person jury came back with a verdict that found the luxury designer was not liable for damages or profits that it made selling product with four stripes or its trademark grosgrain ribbon.

Runway Review: Martine Rose Men’s Fall?2023

London’s swagger-serving Martine Rose came to Florence aiming to pay homage to the city and Italian culture without treating it as a postcard, as she noted during a preview.

She cast locals and the usual too-cool-for-school pack and took over 16th-century loggia for her Pitti Uomo display, decking it in saffron yellow carpeting and covering columns with mirrored tiles.

She embraced her fetish for characters, channeling ‘90s punk boys sporting daring mohawks and sleazy fiftysomething types of cinematic reference and had them sport thrift cool gear injected with her inventive take on Italian tailoring and her twisted idea of cool.

Rent the Runway?has landed on?Amazon.

The designer rental specialist said it is launching an?Amazon?Fashion storefront that will sell “pre-loved” looks and exclusive new items from its Design Collective.?

Jenn Hyman, Rent the Runway’s cofounder and chief executive officer, described the strategic relationship as a boarder win for?resale.?

“It’s not the same as any old brand or any old retailer selling on Amazon because of the fact Amazon is helping fuel these tailwinds that normalize secondhand,” said Jenn Hyman, Rent the Runway’s cofounder and chief executive officer, in an interview with WWD.?

Morphe Parent Forma Brands Files for?Bankruptcy

Forma Brands, the parent company of Morphe, Morphe 2 and Lipstick Queen, is filing for Chapter 11?bankruptcy.

The filing comes days after Forma announced Morphe brand store closures via Twitter, and confirms a WWD report in October that the business was mulling options, including?bankruptcy?and out-of-court settlements with creditors.
