Third Year Anniversary with CBS

Today, July 15th 2018, marks a pivotal milestone in my life. Three years ago, I made a decision to move across the country. A decision that would ultimately change my life and the person I am. Prior to answering the call to move, I was at a difficult crossroads, and, for the first time in my life, hit my knees in prayer— asking for Heaven’s help. From there, I experienced a ‘spiritual awakening’, and was soon introduced to a 21 day fast. For the next three weeks, while depriving myself of food and drink, I prayed for divine direction.

Less than one week after completing the fast, an agent called to say a local Philadelphia news station was interested in me for a full-time position. A swift and definite answer to prayer. 

Today, just like that, I celebrate my three year anniversary, and divine commitment, with all of you.

To my Philadelphia and Delaware Valley viewers, fans, colleagues & #coffeedate ‘rs — THANK YOU. You will never know how much your support and friendship means to me. Philly will always and forever be my home away from home. 

To my friends, fans, and viewers in Minnesota, Thank You for supporting my decision to take a leap of faith.

To my dearest family and life-long friends, who watched me agonize over a decision that would demand much sacrifice, patience, perseverance and strength- I LOVE YOU for being the calm amidst the winds. My strongest support system. I could not have done it without you.

This has been an incredible part of the journey, my friends. A life-transforming experience — and we’ve only just begun. Cheers to living fearlessly and using our God-given gifts and talents for a greater purpose, and higher calling. We don’t always know where our path is leading us, but we are expected to answer the calling. We’re expected to grow, to keep stretching, helping, leading, and giving back. We’re called to step out in faith, and to live our very best lives. Cheers to this chapter, and to the many many more to be written...!  ?(*www.meishajohnson.net)
