Third Annual YLC – IDEAL Leadership Summit and Awards: Advancing Gender Equity and Equality

Young Leaders Connect (YLC) is proud to announce the YLC - IDEAL Leadership Summit and Awards Evening taking place on September 1st at the prestigious Standard Bank Global Leadership Center (GLC). We are delighted to have Standard Bank as our esteemed sponsors and partners for this remarkable event.

The YLC-IDEAL Leadership Summit and Awards will serve as a powerful platform to address and embrace the movement for a truly inclusive future, where gender knows no bounds together. We are bridging the gap to advance the crucial topics of gender equity and gender equality. Recognizing the significance of creating a level playing field for all, we aim to highlight exceptional leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers who have made remarkable strides towards achieving these vital objectives.

The summit will bring together renowned speakers, experts, and influential figures from various fields through a diverse range of engaging panels, thought-provoking discussions. Attendees will be able to gain valuable insights, forge meaningful connections, and collectively explore effective strategies to break down barriers and foster a more inclusive and equitable society.

The awards evening promises to be an inspiring ceremony, where we will celebrate individuals from our cohorts one, two and three, that have demonstrated outstanding commitment and achievements in promoting the woman YLC aims to build – An ethical young leader to be reckoned with. This recognition aims to encourage and inspire others to contribute towards a more equitable and inclusive future.

The YLC-IDEAL Leadership Summit will be held on,1 September at the iconic Standard Bank GLC venue in Morningside, Sandton.

The Summit will start at 09h00-14h00 and is open to all interested individuals.

The awards evening will resume from 18h00-22h00. Limited seats are available; thus, the event is an invite-only.
