Third album

Are you familiar with the band Korn? Twenty-five years ago this Californian band shook rock music so hard that the quake resulted in a new musical sub-genre: nu metal. This band is very important to me personally, because I remember that when I listened to their first album my friends couldn't understand why I was listening to it at all. Nobody knew this band yet and could not accept their music, which made a huge impression on me.

The first Korn album turned out to be a huge success and opened the eyes of many hard music fans. The second record was as good and as hard as the first, but the band was disappointed with it.

The third album was created in a very thoughtful way and the band prepared well for its release - it cemented Korn's position as one of the best bands in the world. Throughout this process, the musicians never had to submit to external pressure, they could remain themselves. Why am I telling you this story? Because MIXD is just “recording” its third album in the third year of its activity. Get ready for some razzle-dazzle!

Stuck in Wroc?aw

2020 has dealt mercilessly with all of us. Some companies were swept off the face of the earth, others were thrown off their seemingly unshakable leadership positions practically overnight. We can consider ourselves lucky - COVID has only slowed down our growth, which previously ran at the speed of light. In 2019 it reached 250% year-to-year. In 2020 we expect an increase of approx. 10-20%. So, technically, we have no reason to complain. Nevertheless, we are a bit disappointed - we were supposed to be in Dubai, Paris, Vilnius and Budapest (names of countries and cities are not accidental), yet we are stuck in Wroc?aw. It wasn't supposed to be like this.

A hardworking black horse

We’re approaching our “third album” knowing that in 2018 and 2019 we worked hard and invested a lot in our brand. The brand itself is what makes us a "dark horse" in many interesting contests for hospitality and workplace interior design in 2020. However, we absolutely cannot rest on our laurels. The changes brought to the global economy and the real estate industry by COVID mean that we have to work even harder. We must provide our new customers with a sense of security and perfect cooperation, and most importantly, convince them that we are not a "one hit wonder", to use terminology from the music industry once again.

Never copy-paste

We keep analysing and improving our proprietary Culture Club? process in relation to the sphere of workplace projects and supplement it with Agile Workplace research. We’re eliminating the weak points from our offer - a few hiccups helped us look at it with a fresh eye and modify it in accordance with the current market expectations. What has not changed - we focus on quality, innovation and uniqueness of the design created for each of our clients. There will never be any room for copy-paste in our office design process.

We are also continuing our mission in the field of hospitality, recognizing its various, currently developing and prospective areas: flats and apartments for rent, co-living and co-working.

The second album is necessary to record the third, and difficulties are needed to achieve success. Let`s go!
