I am now thinking wild and loud.
Can not we conduct a series of levels SWOT analysis for the COVID-19 virus ?
At each level (personal, family, community, business entity, industry sector, country, region, ..) we must focus our effort on the effects (not the cause) of the COVID-19 pandemic
- What strengths do we have against it ?
- What weaknesses do we have internally stopping us from dealing effectively with it ?
- What opportunities may this COVID-19 bring along with it ?
- What threats come along with this pandemic ?
As in any other SWOT analysis, and at each and every level and entity, we need to focus on 2 major scenarios
- How to protect ourselves from threats that may come through our weaknesses ?
- How to capitalize on our strengths to address potential opportunities
There are other variations and scenarios that we may also focus on. More importantly, how to reflect the outcomes on our immediate, short-term, medium-term and long term action plans on how to best deal with this crisis.
