Thinking about something?
Since how long? And, may I ask you, "Why?"
Well, it's definitely humane to THINK. And, it's more like human to re-think.
But, if the process goes on and on and on....without any results, it is"overthinking". All that the overthinking, can gift you is STRESS. And all that it will fail to give you is a SOLUTION. And too much stress freezes your mind.
Whether you are pondering for taking an important decision at work/home or you are helping your child to prepare for exams. Stress needs to be released to allow your mind function well.
Just like the tension that builds up just before exams? And your mind goes blank? If you keep studying till the last moment or keep worrying on how you would perform keeps your mind blocked, numbed and go on a stand-by mode like your computer.
When tension builds up, ease it. Go out in the open for a 5 minutes walk or simply listen to a favorite song or call upon a good friend/family who is positive. Don't block your mind with TV programs/web series that again invites new thoughts to run a mill.
Encouraging words or simply an oil head massage from a dear one can rejuvenate your spirits, ease off the stress and help focus more. Even chocolates are scientifically proven to make you feel happy.
Avoid last minute studying. Deep breaths and a happy mind can think better and function more effectively.
Writing down the matter that is troubling you, and then looking for solutions also brings you lot of clarity. Most of the problems can find solutions within. For the rest of the problems, identify people who can help you with solutions and reach out to them. Do not assume they won't help. Try one, try more. The answers are always there, all you need to do is find its hiding place.
Good luck with your Stress FREE mind.
Stay happy. Stay focused.
God bless all.
