Keep in mind, it is always better for someone else to wave your flag than for you to wave your own flag. So, why not think “outside-the-box” and start the process by surprising other people and making the first move?
I recommend using LinkedIn Kudos to wish folks a happy birthday, congratulate on a new job or job anniversary. But, you don’t have to use a Kudo to accomplish just one thing. You can use a single Kudo for many different things all at the same time. Just provide a variety of links within a single Kudo. Here is an example of what I am talking about. Just post the information below in a single Kudo:

The first web address is for a LinkedIn article. The second link is for a Google Form. The third link is for a second Google Form. The fourth link is for a LinkedIn Group. The fifth link is for a LinkedIn hashtag. It all shows up very nicely in a single LinkedIn Kudo.

Social Media Online Resources. Below is an online spreadsheet with many of the online resources I have found to be beneficial. Perhaps there are some you are currently using. Perhaps there are some you are not currently using, but will find beneficial. Be sure to click the Google Sheet image and take a look. (Even if you have seen this Google Sheet before, I encourage you to take a second look as the contents continue to change and grow.

Well, a Google Form, properly set up and shared may help you recoup this lost information. I encourage you to set up just such a form and share it with your Level 1 connections. You may be pleasantly surprised at the results.
