Thinking Like Noah For Better Results

While I haven't seen the Ark Encounter (life-sized replica of Noah's ark in Williamstown , KY) I imagine that I willl be in awe of such a maginificent tribute to raw persistence and perseverance. This is one of those things that are amazingly simple ...duh...smack-myself-in-the-head, pieces of wisdom that I gleaned from Facebook(yes...really). The Wisdom of Developing an — EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY — Mentality

Persistence and tenacity are two of the most critical ingredients to accomplishing big time results. I’ve noticed that those who get a surprise break and start to experience progress and prosperity, usually are driven to go higher and further or they start to rest on their laurels.

I have trained myself to engage in what I call an EVERYDAY EVERYDAY EVERYDAY mentality, This lifestyle is paralleled after Noah’s story in the scriptures. Noah was assigned a huge task by God — to build an ark — a gigantic boat. One that is believed to have been 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet tall.

By the way, it's doubtful anyone had ever seen rain at this time and it was also unbelievable that this gigantic boat was being built on land -- nowhere near a body of water.

There was a great deal Noah didn’t know, but Noah developed this EVERYDAY EVERYDAY EVERYDAY mentality. He got up each morning, focused on his task, and did so without knowing what would be the end result of his efforts years down the road.

Hemingway was an EVERYDAY WRITER, Madonna an EVERYDAY ARTIST, Mother Teresa an EVERYDAY GIVER, Richard Branson an EVERYDAY ENTREPRENEUR, Barbara Walters an EVERYDAY REPORTER and Walt Disney an EVERYDAY IMAGINER.

Once we understand that most who get to the top, get up everyday "without all the answers", but have a drive and a trigger inside that says keep going, keep climbing, keep advancing -- EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY!

As you move forward expect big breaks, be ready for surprises, and know that keeping to the task EVERYDAY EVERYDAY EVERYDAY is the secret to getting to that higher orbit where you’re meant to play.
