Thinking Differently to Reignite Organic Growth
On Friday, March 2, Eaton announced a game changing move with the formation of a new eMobility business segment for the company. This now positions Eaton to become a major force in the future of vehicle electrification, and secure a leadership position in this high growth market segment.
This announcement is the result of a comprehensive 10-month study, and a major collaboration between our Vehicle, Industrial and Electrical teams.
It’s an exciting time for our company. The formation of the eMobility business segment combines our vehicle and electrical capabilities, and is a tangible manifestation of the true power of One Eaton that will benefit our customers.
The announcement is a great example of how our quest for organic growth requires us to “think differently†and work in a “boundaryless†fashion. New sources of growth are often found at the intersection of internal organizational boundaries and customer needs. We are fortunate to be part of a company that has a strong electrical power capability.
I continue to be energized by our teams and the true partnerships that are being formed between the Industrial and Electrical Sectors. There is so much untapped potential in our company, and I encourage everyone to actively seek out ways to collaborate with colleagues from Aerospace, Hydraulics and Vehicle, as well as across both Industrial and the Electrical Sectors to discover what’s possible.
