Think you're protected? Think again...

Think you're protected? Think again...

I’d hate to break it to you, but if you’ve invested in an alarm or CCTV system and now think you’re protected, you’re wrong.

Take some time to actually think about when your alarm goes off...

Yep, that’s exactly right. It’s after an intrusion has occurred. When the alarm is going off, the damage is already done and the intruder is inside the property.

And it’s great that you also have a CCTV system, but apart from rubbing salt in the wound and showing you everywhere someone has been, you’ll be lucky if you’re actually able to identify anyone with the footage, so you’ve really just got yourself a trophy to show your mates when they come over.

So what’s the alternative?

Well, wouldn’t it be better to know before you have a broken window or door, or have had your fence cut?

Wouldn’t it be better to know every time a human steps onto your property, when you’re not expecting them?

And wouldn’t it be better to also have the ability for a Control Room to get the same alert and you have peace of mind that your property, but more importantly, yourself and your family are protected?

Welcome to the world of AI CCTV systems.

Smart cameras that are continuously sending footage to the cloud for analysis, carefully assessing the images for human shapes and will only go into alarm when a human is detected. That’s right, only humans!

No more false alarms from the trees moving, Incy Wincy spider, or next doors cat, just genuine humans. And dependent on your property, able to provide you an alert and also a warning to the intruder, before they’ve been able to do any real damage.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but the idea of you installing your alarm and CCTV system, wasn’t to give intruders their own doorbell and reality tv show.

These systems are versatile and can be deployed in nearly any situation. They’re perfectly suited to factories and warehouses, building sites, property developments and subdivisions, retail arcades, homes and one of the best deployments I’ve seen, is for remote sites with critical infrastructure.

Believe me, apart from having a guard on site 24hrs a day, nothing will provide you with the same level of protection and early detection of intrusion, as this. And for the cost of a full time guard for a few days, you’ve just got yourself a system that doesn’t sleep on the job.

So, if you’re currently thinking about a new alarm system, or new CCTV system, or have been considering upgrading your existing alarm system, or upgrading your CCTV system, take some time to understand all of your options.

And as always, if you have any questions, or would like some more information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
