Once, a car designer designed a beautiful car. It took him years of hard work and a ton of money. When the car was ready, he requested the CEO to go on with him for a test drive.?
?Unfortunately, the car got stuck at the garage gate. It touched the car's roof and made small scratches. Everyone gathered and started giving suggestions.?
?Some suggested removing the gate, while others said to enlarge the gate's height. But it was not helpful.?
?An hour passed, and they decided to call the mason to increase the gate's height. Confused by the decision, the gatekeeper jumped in. He walked to the CEO and asked if he had permission to make a suggestion.?
? "Go on, you can also try," the CEO sarcastically replied.
The gatekeeper?wasted no time and deflated the tyres. The car came out easily.?
Similarly, a renowned toothpaste brand was struggling to generate sales and reached the point of shutting down. The top management had a meeting that went on for hours but to no worthwhile conclusion.?
?Just before the meeting was going to end, the office boy came in and signaled to speak
"I want to give a suggestion. I can see that you have been discussing this for many hours and still need to find a solution to the problem. I suggest?increasing the hole size or outlet of the toothpaste tube. The consumption will increase, and you will see that the sales will automatically rise."?
It's precisely what happened. The management implemented this principle, and the sales multiplied in a short duration.
?
Yet another time, Old Monk, a beverage company, faced a substantial drop in revenue, for the sales dropped significantly. It was also on the verge of being shut down.?
?Since the brand was a favourite to many, the company released a strategic advertisement:
?"Your favourite Old Monk is going out of stock. The company will get closed in 2 months. If you like Old Monk - get your orders now, and keep your stock. No Old Monk will be available after that."
The ad moved people. The sales boomed instantly, as people ordered quantities for as long as two years, saving the company from a financial crisis.
Friends,?your success in life depends not on thinking out of the box but beyond the box.
?What differentiates between a topper and an average student is:
How do you approach a question?
What comes to your mind when you see a question?
How and where do you attack a question?
?Your approach determines whether you would be able to solve the question or not.?
?Most questions have a trick or a catch, requiring not thinking out of the box but beyond the box.
