The Book ....
Who has never heard of "Napoleon Hill" His famous book "Think and Grow Rich " rewritten from different authors and still not understood by so many? This book is not a book you read ones, you read it over and over again. It is the secret to wealth.
The way you grow and expand your wealth and knowledge on a different level, it is an experience of rediscovering something new each time you read the book " Think and Grow Rich " again and again. Every time I read " Think and Grow Rich" I discover something new that I did not understand, recognized or realised before.
What does the book say a short intro from the first pages of the book ...
"What do you want most?"
""Is it Money, Fame, Power, Contentment, Personality, Peace of Mind Happiness.""
This book contains the secret Formula to Wealth. It has been put in place by thousands of people in almost every walk of life. It was Mr Carnegie idea that this magic formula that gave him the stupendous fortune thought to be placed within reach of people who do not have time to investigate how men make money, and it was his hope that I might test and demonstrate the soundness of the formula through the experience of men and woman in every calling. He believed the formula should be thought in all public schools and colleges and expressed the opinion if it were properly thaught it would revolutionize the entire educational system that the time spent in school could be reduced in half. (end of extraction of the book)
What would you say about this, would it be a good idea to discuss this book in school and let students read and form their own understanding.
In our world now we understand that" knowledge is power." But it is a fact that this is a source of confusion to millions of people who falsely believe that. It is nothing of the sort! Knowledge is only potential power. It becomes only becomes powerful when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end.
This “missing link” in all systems of education known to civilization today may be found in the failure of educational institutions to teach their students "HOW TO ORGANIZE AND USE KNOWLEDGE AFTER THEY ACQUIRE IT."
Any person is educated who knows where to get knowledge when needed, and how to organize that knowledge into definite plans of action.
The accumulation of great fortunes calls for power, and power is acquired through highly organized and intelligently directed specialized knowledge, but that knowledge does not necessarily have to be in the possession of who accumulates the fortune.
As knowledge is acquired it must be organized and put into use for a definite purpose, through practical plans.
Knowledge has no value except that which can be gained from its application toward some worthy end.
DOING A THING WELL IS NEVER TROUBLE.
. . . too many of those who begin at the bottom never manage to lift their heads high enough to be seen by opportunity, so they remain at the bottom.
The bottom is a monotonous, dreary, unprofitable place for any person.
. . . both success and failure are largely the results of habit!
Underpinning all ideas is a specialized knowledge.
Capability means imagination, the one quality needed to combine specialized knowledge with ideas in the form of organized plans designed to yield riches.
