We are going through difficult times. It feels like America could be dragged into a war with Russia and possibly China. Politics and the media have made people turn against one another. Inflation rages at a 40-year record high.

Interest rates have been hiked to whip inflation by the Federal Reserve Bank. The stated goal of the Fed is to depress the economy to beat back inflation, and job losses is part of the plan.

We have seen more than 165,000 jobs lost in the tech sector in 2023. The layoff contagion spread across almost all sectors. People are scared over losing their jobs, and worried that they may not find a new one anytime soon.

In most large urban cities, there is wave of crime, open drug selling and usage. The streets are dirty, dangerous, and reek of pot.
