?? "THINK FUTURE" COMPANIES WIN

??? Is your company an innovative leader or a laggard?

??? By implication, a true leader literally must lead, i.e., into the Future.

??? As I keep saying, "The Future Belongs to Those Who Get There First!" True leaders know this!

??? It used to surprise me why a very advanced company would ask me to come in and speak, give advice, or present a seminar. "Why do you need me?" I would ask.

??? The answer always was (and still is): "We need confirmation that we are on the right track. We follow "STEP" trends but we need to tap your latest ideas. We have come to rely on your future thinking." And, yes, they ask me back at least annually, and check in monthly or quarterly.

??? This is also borne out by the sales of my latest book "THINK FUTURE." The vast majority of buyers are innovative companies or people who work there.

??? Then I get calls, asking me to come in and discuss the book because it has my latest ideas, which they feel they need. And they love its 60 Forecasting Principles.

?? LAGGARDS LOSE

??? Laggards companies don't buy my book. Hence, I rarely get invited to consult by laggards, unless one of them wakes up to future reality, or gets a new forward-thinking CEO after a shake-up.

??? That's why, over time, innovative companies or start ups always displace incumbent industry laggards.

??? And that's why there is a big turnover in Fortune 500 companies, as incumbent companies become complacent and are in denial of the need to change.

?? QAI-META PARADIGM SHIFT

??? Fact is, we are living through a disruptive technological renaissance, led by digital AI, with Quantum Computing and the Metaverse waiting in the wings.

??? And these massive innovations are about to converge -- with 5G high-speed communications, IoT, Cloud, robotics, biogenetic sciences, AVs, and solar power, among others -- in ways that will totally reinvent the planet, our lives, every sector of the economy, and every business, bar none.

??? There will be no exceptions. The Fortune 500 will be shaken up big time. It will be a Quantum AI (QAI) mind-blowing revolutionary paradigm-shifting experience.

?? DIGITAL COMMERCE

??? In particular for every business, the convergence of eCommerce and the Metaverse will integrate companies and consumers across what I call Digital Ecosystem Platforms (DEPs), eliminating numerous middlemen, and more.

??? Quantum on top of this will blow all laggards out of the water.

??? Today's Internet users already spend 38% of their free time online and 62% offline. By 2030, these averages will totally flip, especially as Gen Z continues to live a predominantly home-based digital lifestyle.

??? Every day, the digital consumer is spending increasing time and money online. Total online spending will grow at a 20% compound annual rate this decade – the death knell of pure brick-n-mortar retail.

??? Plus, QAI and other brain-science technologies will boost economic productivity by about 10% annually this decade, and likewise will significantly lower unit labor costs like never before – for those companies that embrace them.

?? STRATEGIC IMPLICATIONS

??? Tell all this to most companies -- especially in retail -- and they will either cringe or be in denial, as they have been every since Amazon came on the scene.

??? Tell this to my leading-innovator clients, and they will smile and agree with me.
