The woman encountered a job ad on social media for an “Amazon Freshers Job in India.” Intrigued, she clicked a link and was added to a WhatsApp group where scammers enticed her to transfer money, promising significant returns. Although she initially received some payouts, the scammers disappeared after receiving Rs. 1.94 lakh, leaving her unable to recover her funds.

This unfortunate event underscores the increasing number of scams preying on individuals seeking quick and easy income.
