A couple of learning points out of the book titled "think again" by Adam Grant.
In the first pages, the counterintuitive example of how a fireman saved his life in a terrible forest fire is worth reading: a clear reason why we need to think calmly and to question our assumptions.
Important point to distinguish between task conflict (mostly welcome because it will improve our overall result) and relationship conflit (not welcome at all).
"Intellectual friction is a feature of learning": we need to be open to re-think
Act as an student during your lifetime ... no need to crystalize our believes.
Build your identity based on values that can be improved or revisited.
Work to find better practices. Remain unfinished and ready to accept change.
Hierarchy needs to guarantee that everyone's expert view is valid and can ¨save more than one spaceship".
All in all, interesting reading around these thoughts.
